The Dove King and the Net

A hunter spread grain under a net. A flock of doves landed to eat and were trapped. Each bird struggled alone, making the net tighter.

Their king said, "Do not pull separately. Fly together." At his signal, all the doves beat their wings in one rhythm and lifted the entire net into the sky.

They flew to a mouse who was the king's friend. The mouse cut the knots and freed them. Unity turned a trap into a burden they could carry away.
