The Bird with Golden Droppings

A hunter caught a strange bird whose droppings turned into gold. Amazed, he feared keeping it secretly and presented it to the king.

The minister laughed, "No bird can produce gold. This is a trick." Without testing properly, the king released the bird.

The bird flew to a branch, dropped gold once more, and said, "First the hunter was foolish, then the minister, then the king." Fortune leaves when judgment is absent.
