The Lion and the Bull

A strong bull became separated from his caravan and lived near a forest. His deep bellow frightened the lion king until they met and became friends.

Two jackals who had lost influence grew jealous. They whispered to the lion that the bull planned rebellion and told the bull that the lion meant to kill him.

Instead of speaking directly, both believed suspicion. Their friendship collapsed in conflict. The jackals gained from the silence between friends.
