The Raven and the Swan

A raven boasted of many styles of flying and mocked a swan for moving with calm simplicity. The swan invited him to cross the ocean.

At first the raven showed off: dipping, circling, and twisting in the air. But far from shore, he grew exhausted and began to fall.

The swan lifted him and carried him back. The raven learned that display is not endurance.
